Past Projects
Joystick, iO’s Premier Sketch Ensemble, was formed in December 2024 to bring together the sharpest writers and performers at the historic iO Theater. Over the course of 2025, Joystick wrote and performed four revues of original, outstanding comedy. Joystick is currently planning its 2026 season. Follow Joystick at @io.sketch on Instagram.

Rascal Pants Productions was founded by Veronica Rooney and Brian DeHeer to create memorable and absurd sketch comedy performances elevated to the level of theatrical productions. Every Rascal Pants Production (“Table 33,” “Delirium,” and “Shock Jocks”) has integrated a live band into the performance and has featured an original show score, creating a live comedy experience like no other in the city. Rooney is also a songwriter and musician with Chicago-based alternative rock group Arm Candy. Arm Candy is currently recording and mixing their debut EP at the renowned Narwhal Studios. The highly anticipated release date has not yet been determined.
